European Electric Metals Inc. is operated by an experienced team of mining engineers, geologists and financiers with a track record of success in exploration, development and production.


John G. Booth is an entrepreneur, investor and corporate director with over 25 years of international experience in financial services, energy and natural resource investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and environmental science, Canadian and US law degrees, and a Masters in international finance, tax and environmental law.

A qualified lawyer in New York, Ontario and DC, he spent most of his career in the structured finance arm of investment banking, working for firms including Merrill Lynch International, ICAP, CEDEF and ABN AMRO. In 1998 he spent a year consulting for CIBC around intellectual property strategy before co-founding, the world’s first peer to peer foreign currency exchange in Bermuda. Between 2004-12 he was also a partner and fund manager at Conservation Finance International, an alternative asset management and structured finance firm focused on sustainable timber and carbon. In 2013, he rebranded BuyFX as Midpoint and listed it via RTO on the TSX-V where he stayed as Chairman and CEO until the end of 2015. Mr. Booth is currently launching a new litigation fund focused on natural resources and energy.

Over the past 20 years, he has served as a non-executive director of various public listed companies and environmental charities. In addition to his role with European Electric Metals, he serves as the non-executive chairman of Laramide Resources (TSX/ASX) and as a non-executive director of Cub Energy (TSX-V) and Genius Resources (CSE).


Fred Tejada has over 30 years of international mineral industry experience and has a proven track record, working with both major international mining companies and exploration focused organizations.

Mr. Tejada was former Country Manager and President of Philippine subsidiary companies of Phelps Dodge Exploration Corporation ("Phelps Dodge"). While with Phelps Dodge, Mr. Tejada was responsible for corporate matters and exploration activities from project generation, property acquisitions and permitting. Prior to joining European Electric Metals he was Vice President Exploration of Panoro Minerals Ltd. where he directed the resource definition drilling of its two major copper projects in Peru. Mr. Tejada is also a director of several junior mining companies based in Vancouver, BC.

Mr. Tejada is a Registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) of the Engineers and Geoscientists BC.


George Gorzynski is a geological engineer with 35 years experience in exploration and mining company management. He has strong technical, management and leadership skills, and was a key person in the building and managing of several successful international junior mining and exploration companies. His technical experience ranges from management of large exploration projects in challenging settings to geology field work in isolated locations to oversight of mining operations. Mr. Gorzynski has geological engineering degrees from the University of Toronto (Honours) and University of British Columbia.

Mr. Gorzynski is Vice President and Director at Fireweed Zinc and at Impact Silver.


Fred Sveinson is a professional mining engineer with more than 45 years’ experience in Canada and internationally in the exploration, development, construction, operation and financing of mineral projects. His experience includes the development and operation of underground mines from 100tpd to 2000tpd in Zambia, USA, Venezuela and Canada including the Arctic. He has been involved in projects with major logistics challenges including construction and operation in remote areas requiring fly-in, fly-out camps with access via long winter roads and by air. Mr. Sveinson has been involved with negotiating Impacts and Benefits agreements with First Nations and training of aboriginals. He has held senior positions with major consulting firms and contractors such as SNC Lavalin Inc. and Dynatec Corp. Fred has been an entrepreneur and founder of several junior companies which have re-started Brownfield’s sites or developed new mining operations. Mr. Sveinson is currently working as a Senior Mining Advisor / Consultant via his wholly owned company, International Mine Builders Inc. where he is currently leading the resurrection of the historic Bralorne underground gold mine owned by Avino Silver and Gold Mines in British Columbia. Mr. Sveinson is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering. He is also a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts in General Economics in 1985.


Mark Crawford has been an Advisor to the Company since 2014. Mark Crawford is an American citizen, currently based in Albania where he oversees multiple international business interests. Mr. Crawford is an experienced international executive having been involved with start-ups and management in audit, banking, brokerage, chambers of commerce, film production, micro-finance, and natural resource firms in North America and Europe. Mr. Crawford is currently Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Albania and Director of the American Bank of Investments in Albania. Mr. Crawford’s experience also includes acting as the Chief Executive Officer for the Opportunity Bank in Montenegro and as past Fund Administrator for the Albanian-American Enterprise Fund. In addition to Mr. Crawford’s significant business achievements, he has also worked tirelessly as a volunteer in both Chairing the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania and serving as the Global Vice President for Legislative Affairs of Republicans Overseas, headquartered in the USA.

Mr. Crawford has an undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a master’s degree from University College London in the UK. He is a native English speaker, is fluent in Albanian, and speaks basic Serbian/Montenegrin and basic Greek.


Chris Donaldson has over 20 years experience in corporate development and marketing with a successful track record of raising funds and building out new investment channels for both public and private companies. Mr. Donaldson is currently the Director, Corporate Development for Western Copper and Gold where he is responsible for the investor relations program and management of strategic partnership activities. He is also the Director, Corporate Development and Community for Casino Mining Corp. in the Yukon where he is responsible for corporate, governmental and community relations.

Mr. Donaldson is a founding director and acting President of SIREM (Society of Investor Relations Executives in Mining), has been active with the board of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce, the Yukon Chamber of Mines Communications Committee and served for many years as a Director of the Pacific Salmon Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario, has completed the Canadian Securities Course as well as the Investor Relations program at Ivey Business School.


Jonathan Richards brings over a decade of resource-focused accounting and auditing experience to his role as CFO. He has accumulated extensive experience with TSX and Venture-listed companies, as well as numerous private companies all over the world. Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in management studies with first-class honours from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). Mr. Richards is also the CFO of Meridian Mining, a manganese producer.
